Kip Leitner is an accomplished jazz pianist, accompanist and improviser. His playing spans a broad range of styles, with emphases in meditation music and improvisations sensitive to singers and settings. His playing helps set mood, tone environments and provide a base for exploration.
He has played solo and with groups in Dallas, San Francisco and Philadelphia, working in regional musical theatre, nightclubs and religious houses of worship. From 1988-1992 he was accompanist for veteran Broadway actor Clark Sterling who featured in the national tour of Les Miserables.
